Vietnamese cuisine integrated in tourism programs

(VOVWORLD) -The Saigon Professional Chefs Association under the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association has announced a list of local chefs who will represent the country by competing in the FHA Culinary Challenge (FCC 2022).

Through the contest participants will have the chance to demonstrate their unique skills through culinary activities.

This year will see Vietnamese chefs make use of ingredients that are typical Vietnamese specialties, including Hue lotus, glutinous rice flour, and tapioca flour from different regions nationwide.

They are to offer traditional Vietnamese cakes in a London Trade Fair next month to introduce the specialties to the world.
