Vietnamese, South African communist parties strengthen ties

(VOVworld) – The communist parties of Vietnam and South Africa mutually agree that information and delegation exchanges, and conferences on theory and practice in party work will expand their bilateral cooperation. The agreement was reached Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa, at a reception hosted by Chris Mahlako, Secretary for International Relations of the South African Communist Party, for Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations. Both sides sought a closer cooperation and effective coordination at multilateral and international forums to help each other broaden ties to Asia and Africa, particularly in trade, investment, and tourism.
