Vietnamese team wins 3 golds at International Mathematics Competition

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese team won prizes at the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) in India, including 1 championship trophy and 3 individual gold medals.

The Vietnamese delegation included 24 students divided into 6 teams: 4 teams of 6th and 7th graders and 2 teams of 8th and 9th graders.

The IMC is an annual competition attended by teams from 40 countries. At last week’s IMC in Lucknow, India, 550 students aged between 14 and 17 competed. Each team consisted of a maximum of 6 members - 4 students and 2 teachers – who were required to take 2 exams, one as individuals one as a team.
