(VOVworld) – Local authorities are urged to devise appropriate policies to ensure that Vietnamese workers working in the Republic of Korea return home at the date set in their contracts. This was highlighted at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs’ meeting on Tuesday. Phan Van Minh, Director of the Vietnamese Overseas Labour Centre, stressed the importance of this task while urging local authorities across Vietnam to step up efforts to reduce the number of Vietnamese workers who overstay their contracts and work illegally in the Republic of Korea.
