Vietnamese Year in France to improve bi-lateral ties

(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese year in France will improve the bilateral ties between Vietnam and France.

Vietnamese Ambassador to France Duong Chi Dung made the statement ahead of the event in France which starts on Friday. He said this is the first time that the two countries have organised such an event in the other country.  The France-Vietnam Year finished last December and the Vietnamese Year in France is expected to create a breakthrough in bi-lateral ties.
During the year, an exhibition entitled “Dragons on the antiquities” and a workshop dubbed “Vietnamese arts, new approaches” will be held. On this occasion, Vietnam’s cinematography will be introduced through film weeks and festivals while a special culinary program will be designed to highlight Vietnamese dishes in France’s hotels and streets.
Ambassador Dung added that both Vietnam and France will continue exchanging high-level delegations.The Vietnam-France high-level economic dialogue in April in Paris is a realization of the strategic partnership.
