The festival promotes trade and cooperation among culinary and tourism businesses, and adds color to summer activities in Nha Trang City. In addition to a cooking contest, the festival also features a replica of traditional Vietnamese market with more than 80 stalls offering regional specialties like Cha Ca La Vong (grilled fish) and Banh Dau Xanh (green bean cake) from the north; Bun Bo Hue (noodle with beef from Hue city) and Mi Quang (a noodle dish from Quang Nam province) from the central region; and Banh Xeo (crispy pancake) and Hu Tieu (noodle with seasoned sautéed beef) from the south. The festival will run until Sunday.
