(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam ranked 44th among 139 economies, maintaining its 2024 position, and remains second among lower-middle-income countries, behind India, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization.

In its 2025 Global Innovation Index on Tuesday in Geneva, WIPO highlighted Vietnam as one of nine middle-income countries with the fastest innovation improvements since 2013.
Vietnam and India are the only two nations to exceed their development levels in innovation performance for 15 consecutive years.
In 2025, Vietnam topped the world in creative goods exports and continued to lead in both high-tech imports and exports.
