Vietnam’s press accompanies national development

(VOVworld) – Journalists nationwide are celebrating the 89th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day on June 21st.  89 years ago, the Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper was established by President Ho Chi Minh, laying the first brick in the foundation of Viet Nam's revolutionary press. Since then, Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day has been celebrated every year to promote the role and social responsibility of the press, tighten relations between journalists and the public, and solidify the Party’s leadership of journalism.
