Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said so at a ceremony to honor young talents in science and technology in Hanoi on Saturday. Mr. Nhan praised the achievement and contribution made by those young people as well as the effort by Ho Chi Minh Youth Union to cooperate with agencies to find out those talents: "The globalization and competitiveness between countries in the region and the world are the competition in terms of intellectual ability of human resource and science and technology. The  6th conference of 11th Party Central Committee continued considering development of science and technology top national policy and important motivation in the country’s modernization and industrialization".

141 young scientists were honored for their outstanding achievement and creativity.
