They expressed delight at national development and their belief in further growth in the future. Voter Nguyen Van Cai in Ho Chi Minh city said: “The government report provides detailed information on Vietnam’s development last year. However, we expect more from the leadership of the government, the National Assembly, the Party, and state. Our major concerns are income, education and training. We hope that the government will improve its performance and boost socio-economic development in the remainder of the year and early next year.”

Vu Anh Tuan, Secretary General of the HCM city Informatics Association, said: “Economic growth was positive in the first quarter. We hope that the National Assembly will devise more policies to boost growth, make it easier for business production, and improve the performance of state agencies.”

Sung Chu Va in Lai Chau province suggested that the Party, state, and government pay more attention to ethnic minorities: “Ethnic minorities still face many difficulties both economically and socially. We hope that the National Assembly will consider priority policies to improve lives in ethnic areas.”
