Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has urged related parties to refrain from any action which may fuel further warfare in Syria. He said any attempt to impose a no fly zone in Syria with jetfighters and missiles deployed from Jordan would violate international law. Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said the US commitment to military aid in Syria may trigger an arms race in the country and harm efforts to form a political solution. UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon said military solution would not solve the conflict and called for an international conference to end the 2-year conflict in Syria.
