(VOVworld) – As Tran Dai Quang is elected President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Presidents of Laos, China, and Russia sent congratulatory messages.

Laotian President Choummaly Xayasone believed that with his experience and competence, President Tran Dai Quang will lead Vietnam to maintain social stability, develop the economy, improve people’s living conditions, and elevate its status internationally. Chinese President Xi Jinping wrote in his congratulatory message that China and Vietnam are friendly neighbors. China attaches special importance to its relation with Vietnam and is ready to work with Vietnam to deepen cooperation in all sectors and promote bilaterally peaceful and stable relation. Russian President Vladimir Putin hoped to closely cooperate with President Tran Dai Quang to enhance Russia-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership and cooperation for mutual benefit towards peace, security, and stability in Asia-Pacific.

Speaker of the Laotian parliament Pany Yathotu sent congratulations to Vietnamese National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and wished the Vietnam National Assembly further successes as a representative of the people.
