Zhejiang, China promotes new tourism routes to Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - A cultural and tourism promotion event for Zhejiang Province, China, was held in Hanoi on Tuesday to enhance people-to-people exchanges and celebrate the 75th anniversary of Vietnam–China diplomatic relations.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong reported that in the first nine months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed 3.9 million Chinese visitors, up 44% year-on-year, making China the largest source market for Vietnam’s tourism sector.

Vietnam’s recent tourism promotion programs in Chongqing, Beijing, and Chengdu have not only showcased the country’s culture and people but also expanded business cooperation opportunities.

Later this year, Vietnam will organize further tourism promotion activities in Nanjing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou—the capital of Zhejiang Province.
