(VOVworld) – 56 outstanding students were honored at a ceremony Wednesday held in Ho Chi Minh City. These students participated in an emulation movement launched in 2011 by the Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union to encourage students to achieve excellence in academic performance and contribute to social activities. The movement encourages Vietnamese students to train themselves in their academic and social life and promote a positive image of Vietnamese students in the modern age.

The same day, the student association of Da Nang City held a ceremony to honor outstanding students and award 13 “January Star” prizes to the top students to mark the 64^th anniversary of Vietnamese Students’ Day.
