Activities to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 122nd birth anniversary continue

(VOVworld)-The Saint Petersburg State University and the Vietnamese Embassy have jointly celebrated President Ho Chi Minh’s 122nd birthday and 2nd anniversary of the School’s Ho Chi Minh Institute. Ambassador Pham Xuan Son and the University Rector praised the importance of the institute in research about Ho Chi Minh while helping promote bilateral friendship and cooperation.
The Nachok Friendship Village in Nakhon Phanon province of Thailand hosted a ceremony to mark President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and bilateral friendship cooperation development.

The Laotian National Cultural House held the final round of an art performance competition to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s birth anniversary and the Vietnam Lao Friendship Year 2012. Nguyen Van Chau is a participating overseas Vietnamese:“The activities promote Vietnamese spirit in Laos and educate the younger generation for future development. Participants are more aware of their obligations to the community and their home country.”

The Vietnamese Embassy in China in cooperation with the Chinese Radio International held a get together for Vietnamese and Chinese students and launched a singing contest highlighting bilateral friendship. This is an opportunity for young people to know more about Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary career and bilateral friendship between Vietnam and China.
