Hanoi comes alive during the Christmas season, with its streets, amusement parks, and shopping districts bathed in the festive spirit. Particularly, at the St. Joseph Cathedral area, a majestic 15-meter tall Christmas tree stands tall, adorned with meticulous decorations, set against a charming backdrop in the lobby.

The Old Quarter in central Hanoi and local churches are drenched in the classic red and green colors of Christmas. A myriad of tourists and young individuals venture out to immerse themselves in the joyous atmosphere, relishing the festive vibes and embracing the serenity of Christmas.

"Passing through the St. Joseph Cathedral to move toward Hang Ma street, I feel really excited. I wish my family health, happiness and luck. Merry Christmas to everyone," said a local in Hanoi.
Parishes and denominations in Dak Lak province are also meticulously decorated, while the roads, alleys, and houses exude a cheerful and bustling appearance. With life being peaceful and the economy flourishing, religious followers now have a more joyful Christmas and enjoy a happy New Year.
Father Hoang Nguyen Vu of Ea Tul parish, said: "For many, Christmas is a significant holiday. Particularly in Ea Tul, people make stone grottoes to celebrate Christmas."

The Christmas spirit has spread all over Thua Thien - Hue province, extending its festive aura from urban parishes to the rural areas since the onset of December. The parishes within the Hue Archdiocese have implemented a multitude of meaningful volunteer initiatives, all resonating with the profound message of "Respecting God, loving the country for the happiness of the people."

Archbishop Giuse Nguyen Chi Linh said: "During the Christmas season, Catholics not only partake in masses but also actively engage in charitable endeavors. They express love for their fellow human beings through compassionate visits and thoughtful gifts for the underprivileged and homeless, regardless of social or religious affiliations. Christmas is evolving into a universal festival, transcending religious boundaries and transforming into an inclusive celebration for people of all backgrounds."

During Saturday to Monday, passengers departing from Saigon station will be surprised by Santa Claus visiting their seats to share Christmas gifts. The trains themselves have been adorned with images of Santa Claus, pine trees, and snowmen, courtesy of the employees of Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, serving as their gift to all passengers during the holiday season of Christmas and New Year 2024.
