Officials pay pre-Christmas visits to Catholic communities
(VOVWORLD) - Officials from provinces and cities nationwide on Friday paid pre-Christmas visits to Catholic communities in their respective localities.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung offered gifts to the Hanoi Archdiocese and affirmed Catholics’ important contributions to the city’s achievements. He said for 2024, he hopes Archbishop Joseph Vu Van Thien, along with other dignitaries and parishioners, will accompany and contribute more to the development of the city and the country.
Similarly, a visit to local religious establishments by Dak Lak provinccial leaders was met with gratitude from Catholic communities, who offered their thanks to the local administrations for providing them with favorable conditions to exercise their freedom of religion. Priest Vu Thanh Lich, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Solidarity of Catholics, said: "We’ll continue to strive to be good citizens and accompany the nation in seeking happiness for our compatriots. We will continue to contribute to the development of our homeland."
The same day, officials from An Giang and Hau Giang provinces visited and wished the local Catholic communities a merry Christmas.
