Vingroup to supply ventilators to Vietnamese market late April
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup has registered to produce ventilators and will distribute them to the Vietnamese market in the second half of this month, said Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung on Friday.
At a government meeting, Mr. Dung said Vingroup is working closely with an American company on the project. Deputy PM Dung asked the Ministry of Health to calculate the ventilator types and quantity, and concurrently report its plan to the Prime Minister.
He asked the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Science and Technology and experts to coordinate with Vingroup, to develop product quality control standards. The Ministry of Finance was asked to deal with procedures and policies of importing and exporting ventilator components. The Deputy PM also said that Vingroup has produced body temperature scanners, which are waiting for the Ministry of Health’s approval.
