Authorities gears up to protect undersea gas pipelines
(VOVWORLD) - The Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command and PetroVietnam Corporation have proposed solutions to improve management efficiency, minimize risks, and ensure the safe, continuous and stable operation of the undersea gas pipeline system.

At a communication conference this week, PetroVietnam was urged to coordinate more closely with functional forces, especially the Border Guard, to promptly detect and handle risks, and protect the safety of the marine gas pipeline system.
This will contribute to maintaining security and order in the sea waters, effectively serve socio-economic development and protect the Fatherland’s sovereignty of the sea and islands.
