Major General Kien emphasized that all activities of cooperation between the two forces in 2023 have been carried out seriously and effectively, thus helping the Coast Guards of Vietnam and Japan improve their law enforcement capacity at sea.

The event contributed to a series of cooperative activities this year to mark the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations. The two sides agreed to hold cooperative activities in 2024, including organizing the 11th bilateral meeting between the two forces in Vietnam.
