Hai Phong voters calls for more mechanisms, policies to develop local marine economy
(VOVWORLD) - Voters from some island districts in Hai Phong city called for more specific mechanisms and policies to promote the local marine economy during Wednesday’s meeting with lawmakers ahead of the year-end National Assembly.

Their proposals focused on the apparatus of the local government in Cat Hai district and the upgrading of the search and rescue station in and recovery efforts in Bach Long Vy district after Typhoon Yagi.
Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Do Manh Hien said, “We have noted Cat Hai voters’ proposals and will submit them to the National Assembly’s Standing Committee for consideration. Other requests including a specific mechanism to support workers in island districts have also been taken into account.”
