(VOVworld) - Shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh, who won a gold and a silver medal at Rio Olympics 2016, arrived in Hanoi August 14, with a warm welcome from Vietnamese fans.

From 8:30pm August 14 , hundreds of fans gathered at the A2 Arrival Gate, Noi Bai International Airport,Hanoi, waiting for Olympic star Hoang Xuan Vinh.

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien (C) congratulated Vinh.
He returned home in a warm welcome from Vietnamese fans and supporters.
Shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh won the men's 10m air pistol title to become Vietnam's first-ever Olympic champion.
He also won a silver medal at the men's 50m pistol event in Rio.
His comrade-in-arms congratulated him.
Chief coach of the Vietnamese shooting team Nguyen Thi Nhung said she was amazed by Vinh's performance.
South Korean expert Park Chung Gun (R) contributed grately to Vinh's historic victory.
Vuong Bich Thang, Head of the General Department of Sports, met the Vietnamese shooting team at the Noi Bai International Airport.
