Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong told a press conference on Wednesday in Hanoi that after one year of its merging, the Ministry has recorded a GDP growth of around 35%. It has shifted from an “administrative management” model to a “development facilitation” approach in line with Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Deputy Minister Phuong said that in April, priority will be given to completion of the strategic technology list, the establishment of inter-sectoral task forces, and the building of special financial mechanisms. The Ministry will complete 100% of regulations guiding the enforcement of the laws passed by the National Assembly in 2025.
