(VOVworld) – Deputy Minister of Public Security Bui Van Nam has worked with Quang Nam authorities to assure security for APEC 2017 activities in Hoi An city.

Three events are scheduled to take place: a meeting of senior finance officials; a meeting of finance and central bank deputies; and a meeting of finance ministers. Following those meetings will be APEC Summit Week in Da Nang, attended by 21 leaders of APEC members. Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Vice Chairman of Hoi An city’s People’s Committee, said: “Hoi An has worked with Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and Culture, Sports and Tourism on a plan to assure security for the event. Specific tasks are assigned to provinces and cities”.
