Since June, visitors to Da Nang have been flocking to exciting tourist activities in Bach Dang, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Tran Hung Dao street.
Nguyen Thi Minh Trang, a tourist from Binh Dinh, said: "The atmosphere is very exciting. I’m very happy and look forward to more such activities in Da Nang."
From late July to early August, the number of domestic visitors to Da Nang increased sharply. Hotels and restaurants reached 80% of their capacity. Many seaside hotels were fully booked during the weekends. With the growing number of tourists, revenues of local hotels and restaurants rose sharply.
Bui Van Minh, a local restaurant owner, said: "Demand is growing strongly. Most of the hotels and restaurants in the city are always crowded these days. This is a great opportunity for us to grow."

The city’s new tourism products include luxurious sea tours, cultural and historical tours, and MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) tourism. It has renewed and diversified local cultural events and festivals. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang Tourism Department, says the domestic market has completely recovered, boosting local economic growth and making tourism an attractive investment.
The city will continue to strengthen tourism promotion to attract more foreign tourists, says Hanh.
"With the series of festivals and events scheduled to take place between now and the end of this year, we expect Da Nang tourism to bounce back strongly. The city is offering multiple new tourism products,' according to Hanh.
According to the Da Nang Tourism Department, the city has welcomed 1.3 million visitors in the first half of this year, 34% more than last year.
