(VOVWORLD) - The 5th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week is underway across communes and wards citywide. It aims to stimulate tourism, boost growth, and kick off the festive year-end season with fresh, exciting experiences for residents and visitors.

The “Vibrant Ho Chi Minh Fest” is connected with other large-scale cultural and entertainment events taking place simultaneously across the city – the Cho Lon Food Story culinary festival, the Southern Folk Cakes & Cuisine Week, and the Recycled Costume Festival.
The events extend far beyond the city center, reaching 168 wards, communes, towns, and special zones across Ho Chi Minh City. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, said the Tourism Week reflects the city's identity.

This year’s edition is particularly significant as it coincides with the city’s official administrative expansion, marking a new phase of growth toward becoming a dynamic, multi-centered, mega-urban hub integrating economy, culture, tourism, services, seaports, and high-tech industries.
“Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week 2025 is a commitment to building a friendly, green, and sustainable tourism city. It demonstrates coordination of authorities, businesses, and the community, and reinforces Ho Chi Minh City’s role as a hub of regional and national tourism,” said Dung.
As part of Tourism Week, travel companies are launching major promotional packages.
