The iTECH EXPO 2024 opened on Tuesday at Quang Trung Software Park in Ho Chi Minh City. Organized by Vietbuild International Exhibition Organization Joint Stock Company and Alta Media Company, the event runs until Saturday.

Covering 50,000 square meters, the event features 500 booths of 300 domestic and international suppliers from the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Russia, India, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Thailand, and many others. The event is supported by many localities nationwide who aim to promote trade and investment in the technology sector.

With the theme "New Technology for a New Era," the forum highlights trend-leading technologies and breakthroughs in digital transformation. It aims to promote global science, technology, and engineering development while enhancing future hybrid connectivity.

Exhibits include smart, innovative, and modern products, solutions, and applications across 18 trending fields and technology groups such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), interactive virtual reality (AR-VR), blockchain technology, smart factories, and high-tech agriculture.

According to Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology Association, the expo's highlights include products and solutions related to smart lighting technology, smart urban development applications, consumer electronics, information technology, manufacturing equipment, and electronic components.

"I believe that the rapid technological advancements showcased at the event, particularly in AI, will provide consumers, technology companies, and businesses with valuable information, knowledge, and market opportunities, furthering the development of Vietnam's information technology industry." said Long.

During the three-day event, in addition to showcasing technology products, the event features 12 specialized seminars, 50 in-depth technology reports, and gathers more than 300 experts and speakers. There will also be 1,000 trade connections, 30 cooperation signings, and technology transfers. The Organizing Committee hopes that iTECH EXPO will become an annual event, building Vietnam's brand in Southeast Asia and Asia.
