Deputy Director of the Vietnam Opera and Ballet Theater Do Phuong recently wrote a song called “Wishes” to thank healthcare workers and armed forces who are working day and night at quarantine areas and in hospitals to protect people’s lives and public safety.

Inspired by the poem “What have you done for your homeland?” written by Le Thi Thuy, a teacher in Lam Dong province, singer Thanh Cuong of the Vietnam National Music, Song and Dance Theater set the poem to music. The moving song conveys a message of responsibility and love for the homeland and calls on people to join community efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

The HUC Band, whose members are teachers at the Hanoi Culture University, recorded a new song to spread confidence in defeating the disease. The song has an exciting, upbeat rhythm and beautiful, mischievous lyrics.

Popular singer Thai Thuy Linh recently released an MV called “My grandparents in the COVID-19 time”. The song was written by teacher Nguyen Xuan Khang, Rector of the Marie Curie School in Hanoi, borrowing the music of Le Thien Hieu’s hit “My grandparents”. Linh said:

Linh said: “The last words of the song are: ‘My dear, if we want to live green, we need to improve our awareness like my grandparents.’ Each of us should uphold our responsibility as a citizen and think more about the community. Just one irresponsible act could seriously harm the community.”

The MV “Join the community to fight corona”, written by Le Hong Phuc and performed by 20 Vietnamese artists, calls on Vietnamese people to stand together with love and confidence in the fight against COVID-19.

Borrowing the music of the Russian song “Million roses”, Emeritus Artist Dieu Huong wrote new lyrics for a version called “Corona”, calling on people to strictly follow health regulations to protect themselves, their families, and the community.
