Combining election information with culture is making election preparations in Dai Phuc commune more interesting. The authorities have organized a contest for 57 villages and hamlets in which voters’ rights and responsibilities are explained through the dialogue of characters in short plays. “Election Story” by Team No. 3 was one of the most impressive plays.

Team leader Nguyen Huy Son said, “‘Election Story’ explains how a voter can choose the right candidates. Casting a ballot in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is the right and the responsibility of every citizen.”

The short plays make election rules and procedures easier to understand. Luu Van Nghiep, a resident of Thai Son hamlet, said: “This election information contest has residents feeling very excited. It’s an effective way to get people to understand the election.”

Nguyen Hai Ha, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dai Phuc commune, said, “The commune People’s Committee has developed a plan and a communication team for various forms of outreach. 11 teams with more than 200 members responded to the election information contest and a lot of people turned up to watch their performances. This has helped people understand the election procedures and has made them feel a greater sense of responsibility.”
