(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on Sunday received 41,500 USD donated by overseas Vietnamese to help residents in Vietnam’s flood-hit central provinces.

The money was contributed by Vietnamese expatriates in Poland and the Czech Republic, and delegates attending the Congress of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe.
Leaders of the VFF Central Committee thanked overseas Vietnamese in Poland and the Czech Republic and the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe for their donations. They said the money will be delivered to flood victims to help them stabilise their lives and production.
Between October 17 and November 4, the VFF Central Committee received a total of 806,000 USD donated to flood victims.
