Thousands of young volunteers walk to raise funds for poor children’s schooling
(VOVworld) – More than 5,000 students and pupils took part in a charity walk in district 7, Ho Chi Minh city, on Sunday, to raise fund to help poor children to go to school.

This is part of a program to mark the 10th Volunteers Day organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Students’ Association and the Vietnam Youth Federation in Ho Chi Minh City. The program calls on organizations and individuals to continue donation to the scholarship fund providing learning opportunities for disadvantaged children. 40 scholarships have been given to poor students and pupils who have good academic results.
