'Ceramic market' along To Lich River in Hanoi

(VOVworld) - These days, Hanoi is full of colors at any time of the day as Tet is approaching.

Once a year, the 'ceramic product market' along To Lich River convenes just a few days before Tet.

Ms. Le Thi Hang from Giang Cao hamlet in the well-known Bat Trang ceramic village says her displayed products are gathered from her relatives in the hamlet. She takes advantage of Tet to earn more money for the children because doing farm work now is not enough. But this year’s purchasing power is low compared to several years ago. Most people come to see and go!

Hang adds that almost all the traders in the market are her villagers. Ceramic products are displayed along Lang Street from Cau Giay crossroads to the intersection crossing with Nguyen Chi Thanh Street. Ceramic vases of different sizes, patterns, and colors are beautifying the street and turning it into the second ceramic street in Hanoi.
