Son Loi commune declared free from quarantine

(VOVWORLD) - Son Loi commune in the northern province of Vinh Phuc that had been affected by COVID-19, was officially declared free from quarantine at midnight March 3.
A conference was held on March 3 at the headquarters of the People’s Committee of Son Loi commune, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province, to announce the provincial steering committee’s decision to lift the lockdown for quarantine for COVID-19.

Though the conference was held late at 11 p.m, the meeting hall was filled with people.

Everyone, adults and children alike were all waiting for the lifting.

At 11.50 p.m on March 3, barriers and quarantine stations were still operating, following the regulations of the Ministry of Health

At midnight all barriers and quarantine stations in Son Loi commune were lifted. Vinh Phuc officials, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen, and many local residents witnessed the event.

Son Loi people can now leave the commune.

Traffic can move in and out the commune. |
Officials of the Ministry of Health praised everyone who was on duty to help local people during the quarantine.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, Secretary of Vinh Phuc province’s Party Committee, shook hands with the medical staff and soldiers who served during the lockdown.

Police returned to their normal duties after removing the barriers.
