The Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the National Archives Center on Wednesday opened the exhibition called "Hue Imperial City - Remaining traces of the past”.

The exhibit is divided into two parts. The first part features Thuan Hoa-Phu Xuan-Hue. The second part is about the "old citadel".

Researcher Nguyen Xuan Hoa explained that Hue’s introducing to the public 100 imperial records of the Nguyen Dynasty, photos taken from the 19th century onwards, and ancient atlases.

“Everything combined document the Hue citadel since the time King Gia Long built it. This is a system of reliable documents taken from the Imperial Records of the Nguyen Dynasty, which reigned from 1802 to 1945,” said Hoa.

Hue Citadel is one of the relics of the Hue Monuments Complex, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
