In his remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised donors' contribution to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses describing these contributions as a noble gesture that reflects society's strong tradition of humanity and kindness.

The Prime Minister also emphasized that these efforts align with the Party and State's guidelines and policies on prioritizing social progress and justice over mere economic growth.
Prime Minister Chinh noted that 2025 is a year of many significant milestones, including the 50th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification (1975-2025), President Ho Chi Minh's 135th birth anniversary (1890-2025), and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (1945-2025). In light of these important events, the Central Emulation and Reward Council has launched a nationwide movement to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses,"  with the goal of completing this mission by 2025.
The Prime Minister called for a thorough review of the remaining dilapidated houses in Lam Dong province and across the country to ensure effective implementation in the coming years. He urged local authorities to create land funds, expedite site clearance, and make additional contributions to accelerate the program.
At the event, Lam Dong province received 1.7 million USD in support from donors to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
