17 Vietnamese universities enter URAP rankings
(VOVWORLD) - The University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), a Turkish non-profit organisation, has honoured 5 Vietnamese universities for their outstanding academic performance this year, bringing the total number of honored universities in Vietnam to 17.

The Vietnamese universities include Ton Duc Thang University, Duy Tan University, Vietnam National University in HCM City, and Vietnam National University in Hanoi.
Duy Tan and Ton Duc Thang were named in the top 500 universities globally.
The URAP ranking system focuses on academic quality. The group gathered data on 3,000 higher education institutes, approximately 12% of all such institues.
The 3,000 universities and learning institutions were ranked based on multiple academic performance criteria.
The URAP is considered one of the most objective ranking systems, using data on academic performance provided by the Web of Science, a platform that gives access to data collected by the Institute for Scientific Information.
