The Party Central Committee’s Communications and Education Commission has reviewed media work on sea, islands and border demarcation and mapped out future missions. Delegates agreed that external communications last year made important progress in helping the world community understand more about Vietnam’s independent foreign policy for peace, cooperation and development. External communications also confirmed the correct guidelines and policies of the Party and State while protesting incorrect views of hostile forces.  Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem was addressing the event:“The conference reflects the importance of external communications on sea, islands, and border demarcation. This is an opportunity for journalists, diplomats and security officers to share experience to make further progress in this work.”
