(VOVworld)- The 2012 Pacific Energy Summit has provided valuable innovations and suggestions in energy planning for Vietnam, including ways to analyze the costs of the electricity sector and policies to support and encourage foreign investors in the energy sector. Director of Vietnam’s Diplomatic Academy Dang Dinh Quy said the Asia Pacific region has a lot of potential for energy cooperation and Vietnam will actively participate in any international effort in this field. He affirmed: "Vietnam will continue its joint efforts with the international community to address common energy challenges. Vietnam pays much attention to energy problems, especially as the country’s economy is in a key development period, with energy supplies being vital to maintain growth."
