(VOVworld) – More than 30 countries and territories will take part in Hue Festival 2014 next April in Thua Thien Hue province.

A performance to close the biannual Hue Festival 2012

The event will feature art performances from many different regions inside and outside Vietnam. The highlight will be Hue folk and royal court music. Ngo Hoa, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue’s People’s Committee and head of the festival’s organizing board, said: "Hue Festival 2014 under the theme “Cultural heritage with integration and development”, promises to bring many unique art performances. We exploit diversified and unique cultural potentials of the ancient capital. We hope the festival will leave a deep impression on domestic and foreign visitors". 

The festival will take place from the 12^th to 20^th of April next year.
