2,016 COVID-19 cases detected in Vietnam Saturday morning

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reports 2,106 COVID-19 cases on Saturday morning, including one imported case at An Giang province.

2,105 cases were domestic infections, with the biggest number found in Ho Chi Minh City 1,769 patients, and the rest in 17 provinces and cities.  So far, Vietnam has administered 4.2 million COVID-19 vaccine doses.

The world has reported nearly 190.2 million new COVID-19 cases so far, including over 4 million deaths. Over the last 24 hours, more than 490,000 cases were found worldwide. The US, Britain, Spain, France, and Russia have seen a resurgence in the number of infections. The EU saw more than 150,000 infections in a day while the Latin America reported 100,000 cases. Asia detected 89,000 cases, including 54,000 patients in Indonesia.
