The event attracted more than 150 artists from Japan, Kazakhstan, China and Vietnam, featuring performances of music genres like folk, rock, pop music. Emeritus Artist Nguyen Anh Tuan, head of the Eastern art troupe of the National Music, Song and Dance Theatre, told VOV: "We bring to the festival performances of modern music combined with traditional ones. The festival is a great venue for us to meet our colleagues both in Vietnam and abroad and exchange  experiences. It’s also a great opportunity for us to introduce Vietnamese music to the world."

US musician Tim Brockett told VOV: "I'm always happy to see groups from around Asia to perform in other countries because it's good for them to have exposure to different markets. People can learn from each other that way. It's good that people can put aside their differences and see different cultures come together, especially when there's so much disagreement in the world and you can forgte about it for a minute and go to something positive together."

The festival’s jury board awarded 5 gold medals to art troupes of Kazakhstan, Japan, Vietnam’s National Music, Song and Dance Theatre, Hanoi Art Troupe, and Military University of Culture and Arts.
