The Luong Dinh Cua Award is an annual award sponsored by the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union and given to young people with outstanding achievements in manufacturing, trade, applying modern science technologies, protecting the environment and setting up new rural lifestyles. The award aims at encouraging rural young people to contribute to socio-economic, agriculture and new rural development.

Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Ngoc Luong said that through 15 years, more than 1,900 young people in rural districts who have been setting up exemplary business models have been honored.

“We recognized the initial success of the young people in their devotion to career and inspiration, especially in the promotion of green and clean agriculture. They have inspired and encouraged other peers in a joint emulation movement to promote farming economy and digital and sustainable agriculture,” said Luong.
