2,200 soldiers join NATO's largest naval exercise

(VOVWORLD) -NATO’s largest multinational naval exercise, known as Sea Shield 24, opened on Monday at the Romanian port of Costanta, involving 2,200 personnel and 135 ships, aircraft, and vehicles from allied and partner nations.

Among the participants were soldiers from 13 countries, including Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy, and the UK.

Sea Shield 24 is designed to improve coordination in combat by simulating all facets of joint military operations.
