270 Vietnamese repatriated from UK

(VOVWORLD) -More than 270 Vietnamese citizens, including children under the age of 18, the elderly, people suffering from underlying illnesses, and those in extremely difficult circumstances were brought home on Friday. 

The flight carrying the citizens was arranged by Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK, national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, in coordination with competent agencies of the host nation.

All crew members and passengers underwent compulsory medical checkups and were put into isolation in line with regulations regarding COVID-19 prevention and control after they touched down at Van Don international airport in Quang Ninh province.
