(VOVWORLD) - A second flight operated by Vietnam Airlines departed from the US on Saturday to bring home more than 345 Vietnamese citizens.

They are students, old people, and new born babies, who live or study in the East Coast of the US, including New York, an epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many students faced accommodation difficulties and infection risks as schools and dormitories have closed.
A representative of Vietnam Airlines said the carrier will work with agencies to schedule more flights for Vietnamese citizens living in the West Coast of the US.
