350 Vietnamese citizens brought home from UAE, India

(VOVWORLD) - 350 Vietnamese citizens were repatriated from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India on a Vietnam Airlines flight on Monday and Tuesday.

The passengers were children under 18, elderly persons, pregnant women, workers with expired visas or labor contracts, and disadvantaged individuals. Preventive measures against COVID-19 were enforced during the flight. All passengers and crew members received medical exams and were sent to quarantine in accordance with regulations upon their arrival at Cam Ranh international airport.
