(VOVworld) - The 4^th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) will take place from November 1^st to 5^th, featuring about 550 films from 40 countries and territories around the world.

Themed “Cinema-Integration and Sustainable Development”, the festival is expected to attract public attention, create momentum for the Vietnamese film industry to grow and offer opportunities for the Vietnamese film makers to seek more partners.
Vietnam’s filmmakers will introduce their works in all categories of the festival. In addition to a top award worth 5,000 USD presented for the best feature film, the festival will also honor other film work with awards for the best short film, best feature film director, best female and male actors in leading roles, and the best film on an urban topic and others.
As part of the 4th HANIFF, competitions, HANIFF campus, a film project campus, conferences and exhibitions will be arranged. Films at the festival will be screened free of charge in a number of movie houses in Hanoi.
