400 COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday noon, HCM City has the most

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health said that from 6 am to 12 noon on Wednesday, Vietnam reported 400 more COVID-19 cases and Ho Chi Minh City continued to have the most with 347 cases. 

The remaining cases were recorded in 10 localities: Long An (19), Quang Ngai (13), Bac Ninh (6), Phu Yen (4), Tra Vinh (3), Bac Giang (3), Nghe An (2), Ca Mau (1), Ba Ria - Vung Tau (1), and Dak Lak (1). Of them 277 cases were detected in quarantine or lockdown areas.

On Wednesday, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said Vietnam confirmed 5 more deaths from COVID-19, including 4 cases in Ho Chi Minh City and 1 case in Bac Giang. On Tuesday, Vietnam reported 3 deaths in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Thap province. These are elderly patients with severe medical conditions.

As of 12 noon on Wednesday, Vietnam had a total of 22,741 cases of COVID-19, in which, 8,077 cases have been cured and 102 have died.
