(VOVworld) – A ceremony will be held in Hanoi on November 13 to honor 63 outstanding farmers and present the Vietnam Golden Rice Award to 80 individuals and collectives.

100 businesses who have significantly supported farmers will also be honored at the event. Nguyen Minh Nhan, an official from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said: “The Vietnam Golden Rice Award given by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is held every 3 years. It honors inventors and creators of agriculture-based products, management models, and safe production processes which have been widely applied.”
