(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Consulate in Macau and Hong Kong celebrated 64 years of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties on Friday. Vietnamese Consul General Nguyen Thi Nha said that since the normalization of bilateral relations in 1991, cooperation between Vietnam and China and between Vietnamese localities and Hong Kong, particularly in economics and trade, has developed steadily.
For his part, the Chief Representative of China in Hong Kong said that developing relations between Hong Kong and Vietnam is an important part of Vietnam-China relations. He also praised the Vietnamese Consulate in fostering cooperation and exchanges between Hong Kong and Vietnam.
